Job summary

Cub Blaine West on University Avenue is seeking a dedicated part-time cashier and service desk associate for the front end. You will follow front end checkout procedures, interact with customers, and ensure prompt, courteous service in every transaction.

The role requires standing for long periods, strong math and reading/writing skills, and the ability to handle cash, coupons and refunds accurately. Shifts vary, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Memorization, reading, writing and math.
• Follow verbal or demonstrated instructions and write identifying information.
• Good judgment with limited supervision.
• Ability to operate the scanner, register and coupon equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with courteous service and maintain positive relations with all associates.
• Perform product scanning and process customer orders accurately and promptly.
• Handle all forms of tender, coupons, voids, returns and exchanges.
• Answer customer questions or requests and assist with front-end maintenance and cleaning.
