Job summary

Cub Northfield is seeking a dedicated part-time cashier to support front-end checkout procedures and maintain positive customer interactions. You will process transactions quickly and accurately, assist customers, and contribute to a courteous shopping environment.

The role requires standing, flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, and strong attention to detail in handling payments and refunds.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and ensure proper service levels and courtesy from all associates.
• Perform product scanning and processing of customer order in an accurate, efficient and prompt manner.
• Ensure properly handling of all forms of tender and coupons.
• Ensure accurate handling of all voids, returns, refunds and exchanges.
• Assist with customer questions or requests.
• Assist with front end maintenance and cleaning.
