Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Six months cashier experience.
• Must be 18+ years old (19+ in some states for tobacco).
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work weekends, various shifts, and overtime as needed.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of store policies encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and encourage others to deliver excellent customer service.
• Perform cashier functions including open/close, ring sales, and tender transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of checkstand area.
• Answer telephones and comply with corporate policies.
• Promote company initiatives and ensure EAS tags are deactivated at POS.
• Open and close the customer service desk; process refunds and exchanges.
• Provide lottery service and other desk duties as needed.
• Run vendor reports and handle minor logistics at the desk.
