Kroger Family of Companies in Ohio is seeking a Customer Service Associate to assist customers and process sales at the checkstand. This role emphasizes delivering excellent service and upholding the company values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

You will perform cashier functions, handle refunds and exchanges, maintain the checkstand area, answer phones, and support store accounting and the customer service desk.

Qualifications

• Six months cashier experience required.
• Must be 18+ years old (19 where applicable).
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Ability to work weekends regularly and overtime as needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Responsabilités

• Deliver and encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Perform cashier functions including open/close register and tender transactions.
• Complete file maintenance log for price discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness of checkstand area.
• Answer telephones and comply with corporate policies.
• Promote and follow Company initiatives.
• Verify and deactivate EAS tags at point of sale.
• Respond to EAS pedestal activations as needed.
• Open/close the Customer Service Desk; process refunds, exchanges, money orders, and more.
• Provide lottery service and licenses where applicable.
• Manage faxing, lost and found, and vendor reports.
