Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is looking for a Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced wholesale environment. You will receive payments, issue receipts, and ensure cash and POS accuracy. Availability for evening and weekend shifts is required, with prior customer service experience preferred.

The role emphasizes accuracy, friendly service, and the ability to operate cash registers and POS systems to maximize customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales.
• Basic PC knowledge.
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS.
• Good math skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
• Scan goods and ensure pricing & product is accurate.
• Collect payments whether in cash, check or credit.
• Issue receipts and change as necessary.
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information.
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
