Job summary

Restaurant Depot is seeking a Cashier to manage all transactions efficiently at the front end. The role requires experience in a customer service position and familiarity with cash registers and POS systems.

You will handle payments, issue receipts, balance cash, and help maximize customer satisfaction while maintaining a clean checkout area. Evening and weekend availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales.
• Basic PC knowledge.
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS.
• Good math skills.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Customer satisfaction-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
• Scan goods and ensure pricing & product is accurate.
• Collect payments whether in cash, check or credit.
• Issue receipts and change as necessary.
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information.
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
