Food Lion is seeking a Front End Associate to provide fast, friendly service at the Smyrna store. You will greet customers, assist with bagging, and help maintain clean front-end areas while following cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities include greeting customers by name when possible, scanning orders, processing payments, and assisting with refunds or overrides as needed. Must meet age requirements and handle physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods.

• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.

Responsabilités

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience
• Greet each customer and uses his or her name whenever possible
• Unload customers' groceries from cart to belt and organize items for bagging
• Scan customers' order and handle the payment transaction, per standard practice
• Follow procedures for refunds and error correction and cash handling
• Identify customers needing assistance and offer to take the customer's order to their car
• Maintain front end area and ensure neat, clean presentation at all times
