Safeway in Eugene, OR is seeking a Front-End Team Member to help create a smooth checkout experience for customers. You will be the final stop before customers head home, ensuring accurate purchases with friendly, efficient service.

You will rotate between tasks such as handling transactions, bagging groceries, restocking supplies, and maintaining the checkout area, all while staying organized in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Must be 16 years or older (or 18+ depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsabilidades

• Handle transactions (cash, card, digital payments) at the checkout
• Bag groceries and assist with stocking and front-end upkeep
• Answer customer questions and resolve basic issues
• Keep front-end area clean, organized and running smoothly
• Rotate between tasks like scanning items, collecting carts, restocking supplies
