Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• (Front End) strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of cashier/service.
• Ability to perform cashier and service center duties.
• Must meet minimum age requirements for specific job functions.
• Must meet physical requirements of the position, with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers.
• Greet each customer and use name whenever possible.
• Unload customers' groceries from cart to belt to aid bagging and grouping items.
• Check cart bottoms and under seats for items before completing an order.
• Follow correct bagging procedures for appropriate bag use.
• Scan orders and handle payments per standard practice.
• Maintain a neat and clean front-end area and service station.
• Follow procedures for refunds, cash handling, and overrides.
• Identify customers needing assistance and offer to take orders to their car.
• Monitor and report any issues to supervisors and ensure equipment is working.
