Responsibilities

• Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Upholds regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation.
• Follows proper check, ATM, and credit procedures.
• Cleans and stocks Front End areas, including own register.
• Follows cash handling procedures and assists training of new cashiers.
• Assists supervisor in controlling customer flow and reducing wait times.
• Provides excellent customer service and answers phones promptly.
• Merchandises products and maintains clean, safe work areas.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and reports safety hazards.
