Responsibilities include cashier duties, refunds, lottery services where applicable, and maintaining store standards while working in a fast-paced setting. Training and benefits are provided for eligible associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Six months cashier experience.
• Minimum age 18 (19 in some states for tobacco).
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Ability to work weekends, any shift and overtime as needed.
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
• Related retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and support.
• Operate cashier functions, manage register, tender transactions and produce bagging.
• Maintain cleanliness of the checkstand area.
• Answer telephones and assist customers with inquiries.
• Process refunds, exchanges, money orders and transfers, bill pay and gift cards.
• Provide lottery service and licenses where applicable.
• Verify EAS tags are deactivated or removed at sale.
• Respond to tag activations and resolve issues as needed.
