Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Front End Team Member to assist customers at checkout, support the customer service desk, and maintain attractive displays. You will perform cashier duties, answer phones, and help ensure fast, friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes courteous, efficient service, adherence to health and safety regulations, and a willingness to participate in store-wide programs and initiatives. Previous retail experience is not required.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Stand/walk 6–8 hours per shift.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Check out customer groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Uphold regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation.
• Follow cash handling procedures and signage accuracy.
• Assist with training of new Cashier team Members.
• Provide excellent customer service and answer phones promptly.
• Maximize sales through proper merchandising and customer assistance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary front-end area.
