Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience.
• Greet each customer and use their name when possible.
• Unload customers' groceries from cart to belt for easier bagging.
• Check the bottom of every cart and under baby seats for items before completing an order.
• Follow correct bagging procedures for bag types.
• Scan orders and handle payments per standard practice.
• Follow procedures for cash handling, refunds and overrides.
• Identify customers needing assistance and offer to take orders to their car.
• Maintain neat and clean front end area and work station.
• Report any register malfunctions to management.
