Qualifications

• Effective communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience.
• Greet each customer and use their name when possible.
• Unload groceries from cart to belt and group items for easy bagging.
• Check cart bottoms and under seats for missing items before completing an order.
• Follow bagging procedures for bag types and use.
• Scan orders and handle payments per standard practice.
• Assist customers and maintain safety and cleanliness per standards.
• Follow cash handling procedures and perform refunds and overrides as needed.
• Maintain accurate cash control and report issues to management.
• Identify customers needing assistance and offer to take orders to their car.
• Keep front end areas neat and clean; report maintenance issues.
