Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a friendly Cashier to efficiently handle customer transactions at the front end. You will greet shoppers, process payments, issue receipts and rain checks, and maintain a clean, well-organized checkout area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years grocery retail experience preferred in Front End.
• Experience in natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Walk the store before each shift to review promos and items.
• Process payments, issue receipts, refunds or rain checks.
• Operate cash register, enter PLU/UPC, and display totals.
• Greet customers and maintain clean checkout areas.
• Support team goals and follow Front End procedures.
