Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; or relevant education and experience.
• Six months cashier experience for Customer Service Desk roles.
• Minimum age of 18, or 19 in Idaho and Alaska if selling tobacco.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work weekends, any shift, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and organizational structure.
• Related retail experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering excellent customer service and encouraging others to do the same.
• Performing cashier functions such as opening/closing the register, ringing sales, completing transactions, and maintaining produce codes.
• Completing file maintenance logs for price discrepancies.
• Maintaining cleanliness of checkstand area.
• Answering telephones and complying with policies.
• Promoting company initiatives and verifying electronic article surveillance tags.
• Responding to surveillance activations and verifying tag removal.

Store Accounting:

• Maintaining store accounting functions.
• Preparing bank deposits.

Customer Service Desk duties:

• Opening/closing the desk, processing refunds, exchanges, money orders, transfers, bill pay, gift cards, and rentals.
• Providing lottery and fish and game licenses (excluding Alaska).
• Sending/receiving faxes, managing lost and found, running vendor reports.

Additional skills required include the ability to work cooperatively in high-paced and stressful environments, manage conflicts, act with honesty and integrity, follow directions, and support diverse customer needs. Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
