Job summary

Albertsons Companies is hiring a Front-End Team Member to deliver a smooth checkout experience and friendly customer service. You will scan items, handle transactions, bag groceries, and help keep the front end organized and well-stocked throughout the shift.

The role supports a fast-paced retail environment, offers flexible scheduling, and includes benefits for eligible employees. Prior cashier experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ years old (or 18+ depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of cashier or front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at checkout with friendly, efficient service
• Process transactions accurately using cash, card, or digital payments
• Keep the front-end area clean, organized, and stocked
• Restock supplies and collect shopping carts as needed
• Balance registers and handle pricing questions or discrepancies
• Support with bagging, customer assistance, and general front-end duties
