Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Front-End Team Member to deliver a smooth checkout experience and friendly customer service. You will scan items, bag groceries, and complete purchases while maintaining a clean, organized front-end area and assisting with cart retrieval and stocking as needed.

This role requires basic math, good communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior customer service is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on local/state rules).
• Completion of company cashier/front-end training on hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.

• Prior customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a smooth checkout experience and friendly customer service.
• Scan items, bag groceries, and complete purchases accurately.
• Handle transactions using cash, card, or digital payments.
• Maintain checkout area cleanliness and organization throughout shifts.
• Assist with bagging, cart retrieval, stocking, and front-end upkeep.
• Address pricing, transaction, or service questions as needed.
