Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member to deliver a smooth checkout experience and friendly service. You will assist customers at the register, scan items, bag groceries, and handle various front-end duties to keep the area clean and efficient.

The role involves standing for extended periods, light lifting, and the ability to manage changing tasks in a fast-paced store environment, with a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Friendly, clear communication during checkout and customer assistance.
• Processing purchases accurately, including cash, card, and digital payments.
• Accuracy in scanning, pricing, produce codes, and order completion.
• Handling cash transactions, counting change, and balancing registers.
• Managing multiple tasks while maintaining steady workflow.
• Assisting with bagging, cart retrieval, stocking, and front-end upkeep.
• Recognizing and addressing pricing, transaction, or customer service questions.
• Following company policies, register procedures, and checkout processes.
• Comfort managing changing tasks and customer flow throughout the shift.
• Comfort with standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working indoors/outdoors as needed.

Responsibilities
