Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. operates Safeway and is seeking a Front-End Team Member in Apache Junction, AZ to ensure a smooth checkout experience for customers. You will assist with scanning, bagging, and answering questions to conclude each visit positively.

You will rotate between transactions, cart collection, restocking, and maintaining the checkout area in a fast-paced environment. Prior customer service experience is helpful but not required, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 depending on local/state requirements).
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
