Safeway is seeking a Front-End Team Member to ensure a smooth checkout experience and positive interactions with customers. You will balance accuracy in transactions, assist with bagging, and keep the front end organized throughout shifts in a busy retail setting.

The role supports cashier duties, responds to customer needs, and requires flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 years of age or older, depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required
