Job summary

ShopRite of Old Bridge in Old Bridge, NJ is seeking a Front End Runner to deliver a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will scan, price, bag, collect payment and provide accurate change while upholding safety and policies.

The position requires reading and basic math skills, physical stamina, and the ability to work with customers and teammates. Training programs are provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English clearly and accurately.
• Basic math skills for handling payments and change.
• Able to stand and walk for full shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Customer service oriented with a friendly, helpful attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Scan, price and bag products; process payments and give correct change.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow store policies.
• Assist with clerical tasks and support other front-end duties as needed.
• Operate cash register and handle refunds or promotions as required.
• Adhere to safety, shrink, and QA standards throughout shifts.
