Job summary

Goodwill of Silicon Valley is seeking a Coordinated Entry Specialist to greet clients at the front door, conduct standardized intake assessments, and route individuals to appropriate programs. You will document interactions in CaseWorthy and HMIS, ensuring accuracy and audit-readiness in a high-volume, onsite setting in San Jose.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (associates a plus), 1+ year in intake or front-desk roles, and proficiency with Excel/Sheets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• 1+ year in intake, front-desk, or client-services in human services or nonprofit.
• Experience entering client data accurately in CaseWorthy or HMIS.
• Ability to recognize urgent or crisis situations and escalate appropriately.
• Basic Excel or Google Sheets proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Screening and assessment of walk-ins, calls, and referrals at intake.
• Enter contacts in CaseWorthy accurately and on time; ensure audit-readiness.
• Route clients to appropriate programs with warm handoffs.
• Coordinate follow-ups and maintain intake pipeline visibility.
