Job summary

BlueGreen Alliance Inc. is seeking a Door Greeter in the Loss Prevention department. The role focuses on directing customers, providing a warm greeting, and ensuring security measures at the front of the store.

The Door Greeter will check bags, monitor for suspicious activity, and assist customers by directing them to departments. You will work in a physically demanding environment requiring standing for long periods and occasional heavy lifting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year retail or loss prevention experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk 8 hours; lift 25 lbs; nights/weekends/rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Direct customers to the proper area and greet them in the store.
• Check bags at entry; monitor for opened food or drinks.
• Direct customers to departments; refer to the MOD for policies.
• Observe front-end operations for suspicious behavior and report issues.
• Maintain professional conduct and avoid fraternization at the register.
• Check contents of employee purchases for valid receipts.
