Job summary

Open Door Mission’s Garland Thompson Men’s Center is seeking a Welcome Desk Associate to be the first contact for men entering the building. You will greet visitors, manage front desk tasks, verify entries, and support volunteers with protocol training.

The role requires a high school diploma, reception and office experience, and a visible Christian faith. It is a full-time, on-site position at the Omaha campus with a faith-centered team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Visible relationship with Christ and regular church attendance.
• Ability to share the Gospel as opportunities arise.
• Two+ years of reception experience.
• Two+ years of office management experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Train front desk students and volunteers on protocols.
• Greet visitors and notify staff as needed.
• Assist with uploading paperwork into Service Point.
• Take incoming calls and route to appropriate party.
• Exemplify Jesus Christ daily, sharing the gospel or praying with others when opportunities arise.
