Job summary

Open Door Mission in Omaha seeks a dedicated Volunteer Coordinator to train, direct, and encourage volunteers across our six-city campus. This role supports scheduling, reporting, and onboarding while reflecting the mission's Christ-centered focus.

You will engage groups and individuals with warmth, build relationships, and share the Gospel when appropriate, helping to create a welcoming environment and ensuring meaningful service opportunities for all volunteers.

Qualifications

• Visible Christian faith and regularly attend a Bible-believing church.
• Ability to share the Gospel when opportunities arise.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Direct and work alongside volunteers on campus.
• Assist with volunteer applications, scheduling, and reporting.
• Give tours and presentations to volunteer groups.
• Provide encouragement and spiritual support to volunteers.
• Model Christ-centered service in daily interactions.
