Job summary

Delaware North Gaming is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team at Gate City Casino and the Sheraton in Nashua, New Hampshire. You will oversee onboarding, training, compliance, and employee relations, and act as a bridge between local and enterprise HR.

This on-site role requires 3+ years as an HR Generalist and 2+ years as an HR Manager, with HRIS experience (iCIMS or Workday) and a bachelor's degree in HR.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an HR Generalist and at least 2 years as an HR Manager.
• Experience using HRIS systems such as iCIMS or Workday.
• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; PHR/SPHR certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Operations to attract, hire, and onboard new team members.
• Bridge between local and wider HR team; advocate for consistent best practices.
• Develop and deliver training to new and existing team members.
• Handle employee relations, including investigations and resolution of complaints.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations and company policies.

The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is searching for a Human Resources Manager to join our Human Resources team at Gate City Casino and the Sheraton in Nashua, New Hampshire. As a Human Resources Manager, you will oversee team member onboarding, training, compliance, and employee relations, and be an important partner for your local and enterprise HR team. The Human Resources Manager will be required to be fully on-site and work between both locations.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $73,400 - $99,100 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?

• Partner with the Talent Acquisition and HR Operations teams to attract, hire, and onboard new team members

• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations, as well as company policies and procedures

More About You

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an HR Generalist and at least 2 years as an HR Manager
• Previous experience using iCIMS, Workday, or similar HRIS system
• Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field preferred; PHR or SPHR certification is a plus
• Hospitality or gaming experience strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Independent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Ability to obtain a New Hampshire gaming license

Physical Requirements

• The Human Resources Manager will be required to be fully on-site and work between Gate City Casino and The Sheraton. The Sheraton is located at 11 Tara Blvd, Nashua, NH 03062. This will be the main office for the HR Manager.
• The position is generally normal business hours but does require flexibility for occassional nights and weekends.
