The position is in-person, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with possible overtime during peak events.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent; postsecondary education preferred.

  • Strong proofreading/editing skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all communications and reception for the unit; manage main phone line and calendars with professionalism.
  • Oversee building maintenance, safety, HVAC, custodial, security, and fire systems for Discovery I.
  • Manage records, document disposal, and asset inventory for the department.
  • Coordinate deliveries and liaise with campus partners; handle building access and security requests.
  • Plan and support staff engagement events and leadership activities.
  • Maintain emergency preparedness plans and serve as liaison with Emergency Management Team.
