Job summary

Stein Eriksen Lodge is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to oversee shift operations, uphold service standards, and support staff in delivering exceptional guest experiences at our Park City, Utah property.

You will resolve guest concerns, assist with training, and ensure accurate daily reporting while maintaining a welcoming, professional environment for guests and team members alike.

Front Desk Supervisor

Provide shift supervision and guidance to the Front Desk. Ensure each area is managed in accordance with operating standards to maintain a professional image and superior customer service. Ensure that all reports are completed as required. Resolves quickly and timely on guest complaints, concerns or disputes. Responsible to report all issues to Front Office Manager. Assist with training new team members as well as ongoing training for employees.

Essential Functions:

• Adhere to Stein Collection Standards
• Assist in attainment or surpassing of all departmental goals
• Maximize customer service and enhance the guest experience
• Maintain open lines of communication with all department team members and Manager
• Encourage the concept of employee empowerment by maintaining incentives that reward employees for responsive/proactive guest assistance
• Assist with the training process of all department employees
• Review daily front office shift work for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure standards and cleanliness of public and private areas of the are maintained
• Do whatever necessary to help guests and fellow employees
• Ensure all “call back” requests are called backed
• Ensure messages and faxes are properly logged and delivered
• Manage guest history program
• Follow up on all guest complaints in a timely manner
• Review daily arrivals and departures
