At MCR Hotels, we are seeking a Front Desk Supervisor at the Hilton Phoenix Chandler. This role involves managing the front desk and night audit teams, with a focus on guest and staff satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist in interviews, hiring, onboarding, and performance management of front desk staff.
- Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of General Manager and/or Assistant General Manager.
- Review procedures and policies with team members and ensure compliance.
- Handle check-in/check-out, billing verification, reservations, and guest requests.
- Know hotel property and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
- Maintain collaborative relationships with team members and management.
- Comply with labor laws and resolve guest complaints efficiently.
- Support team in managing occupancy, guest service, and expenses.
- Identify service issues, trends, and develop creative solutions for guest satisfaction.
- Balance cost controls with service quality and staff satisfaction.
- Maintain strict key controls.
Requirements
- Two-year college degree or equivalent hospitality experience, including at least one year in a supervisory role.
- Prior brand experience preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills and outgoing personality.
- Cash handling experience and strong leadership qualities.
- Proficient with computer software and flexible schedule availability.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Ability to move continuously and lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
