The Department of Computer Science (CS) seeks a service-oriented, proactive, and adaptable student assistant to provide support to the department’s front desk reception and administrative tasks. The specific schedule will be determined at the time of hiring. In this position, the student assistant will carry out various tasks to support the Department of Computer Science. This is a diverse position and is suited for someone who likes problem-solving, multi-tasking, and organization. The duties are likely to evolve as the student assistant gains experience within the department. This position is available to continue throughout student tenure and is open to Work-Study and non-Work Study students.
$13.00 per hour
Typical office environment onsite at the Department of Computer Science.
Location: Dell Gates Complex (GDC), 2317 Speedway, GDC 2.302
Required between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, up to 19 hours maximum per week.
This position will start in August 2026 and is available to continue through student tenure.
