Job summary

Hamilton YMCA is seeking a part-time Front Desk Staff to greet members and guests, assist with registrations, and answer inquiries in Chattanooga, TN. Shifts run Monday through Friday with varying hours to support facility operations.

Responsibilities include providing excellent service, building relationships, and helping members connect with YMCA programs. You will handle tours, memberships, transactions, and policy enforcement while supporting a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Previous customer service, sales, or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of computers.

We are currently seeking Front Desk Staff for varying shifts every Monday-Friday.

• Conduct tours, sell memberships, and handle program registrations
• Accurately conduct financial transactions and resolve membership concerns
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Previous customer service, sales, or related experience
• Basic knowledge of computers

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
• Effective communication skills in person and on the phone

Training:

• Certification in CPR required within 60 days of hire
• New Employee Orientation required upon hire
