Job summary

Prosegur is seeking an on-site Unarmed Security Officer - Site Supervisor in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This full-time role offers mornings with a 40-hour workweek and a starting pay rate of $19.00 per hour.

Duties include greeting visitors, enforcing access control, surveillance, incident reporting, and delivering strong customer service to residents and guests. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid security license, and 3 years of security, front desk, and site supervision

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have a valid Security Guard License.
• Must have 3 years of experience as a Security Officer.
• Must have 3 years of experience in Customer Service.
• Must have 3 years of experience in Front Desk.
• Must have 3 years of experience as a Site Supervisor.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have good communications skills.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
• Must be able to walk/run flights of stairs daily.
• Ability to think clearly during crises.
• Must be reliable and uphold ethical behavior.

Responsibilities

• Greeting, checking in, and directing visitors.
• Enforcing access control and ensuring only authorized personnel enter the property.
• Monitoring operational procedures.
• Maintaining constant surveillance of assigned areas.
• Providing customer service for residents, visitors, and guests.
• Writing accident and incident reports for any safety hazards.
• Monitoring entrance of vehicles or people into the property.
• Ensuring entry/exit gate equipment is operational.
• Checking surveillance cameras for disruptions or unlawful acts.
• Submitting daily surveillance reports.
