Job summary

Prosegur is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for flexible guarding shifts in Miami, Florida. You will patrol premises, monitor access, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service while adapting to varied sites.

The role requires Florida D license, high school diploma, and English communication skills. It offers shift flexibility across 1st-3rd shifts and weekends with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Florida Security License ("D License").
• 3 years of experience as a licensed Security Officer.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Clean driving record and valid driver license.
• Capable of following complex instructions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
• Respond to any calls from the operator requesting a shift to be covered from little to no notice.
• Must be able to cross-train in various locations for any coverage needed, learning different SOP’s and specific site instructions.
