Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Visitor Management in Wharton, NJ. You will welcome visitors at the front desk, manage access control and badges, monitor alarm panels, and deliver courteous, security-focused customer service at a logistics site.

This full-time role requires 2+ years in security, a valid license if applicable, and strong communication skills. Shift schedule is daytime to evening, with a focus on safety and professional presence.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience or more.
• State, county, or city-issued security license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, drivers, and vendors following site procedures.
• Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify access, issue visitor credentials, and maintain entry records.
• Monitor calls and visitor activity, direct to contacts, report unusual activity to site leadership.
• Support security procedures for deliveries, driver check-ins, and access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents calmly, following emergency protocols.
