Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Front Desk Security Officer in Charlottesville, VA. You will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor security, and provide exceptional customer service at a technology/telecom site.

Minimum requirements include an active DoD Top Secret clearance and a high school diploma. Background checks, a drug screen, and licensing requirements may apply; 18+ (unarmed) / 21+ (armed) as applicable.

Qualifications

• Active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation and drug screening will be conducted as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and staff at a front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications site.
• Manage visitor access: greet guests, verify IDs, issue credentials, and direct individuals per site requirements.
• Monitor access points and security systems; document observations and report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly following emergency protocols.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs and incident documentation for client and Allied Universal leadership.
