Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Front Desk Security Guard in Long Branch, NJ. The role involves greeting visitors, managing access, and delivering excellent customer service at a tech/media/telecom site.

Responsibilities include monitoring lobby activity, handling phones and deliveries, and responding calmly to security incidents per site procedures. Schedule includes daytime shifts with weekends; pay is $19 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or clients at a front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor access to the property by verifying visitor authorization, following site-specific entry procedures, and directing guests to appropriate areas.
• Answer phones, receive deliveries, maintain visitor logs, and provide general information in a professional and courteous manner.
• Respond to security-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and emergency response procedures.
• Monitor lobby activity and access-control systems, report unusual activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
