Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Guard Part Time Front Desk Reception at our Long Branch, NJ location. You will greet visitors, control access, monitor lobby activity, and deliver excellent customer service in a technology, media, and telecommunications environment.

Shifts are Saturday and Sunday mornings from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with pay at $19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and clients at a front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor access to the property by verifying visitor authorization, following site-specific entry procedures, and directing guests to appropriate areas.
• Answer phones, receive deliveries, maintain visitor logs, and provide general information in a professional manner.
• Respond to security-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations following site-specific policies and emergency procedures.
• Monitor lobby activity and access-control systems, report unusual activity, and deter unauthorized entry.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
