Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of security-related experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific policies and access-control procedures at the front desk.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Monitor lobby activity and assist with alarm or camera systems, reporting unusual activity and deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner according to procedures.
• Communicate clearly with facility personnel, emergency responders, and leadership regarding incidents and security matters.
