Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Reception Operations in Charlotte, NC to greet visitors, manage access control, and maintain a secure front desk presence at a commercial real estate location.

You will provide exceptional customer service to tenants and employees, monitor cameras and alarms, respond to incidents, and uphold Allied Universal’s people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 (unarmed) / 21+ (armed).
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as allowed by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and employees at a commercial real estate location by following site-specific security procedures.
• Manage the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying ID/authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor records.
• Monitor access control systems, cameras, alarms, and communications equipment; report concerns per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly while following emergency protocols.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence, answer calls, direct guests and deliveries, and support a welcoming lobby environment.
