Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local regulations.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate front desk while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify credentials, issue visitor access credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk; report unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, tenant requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel or emergency responders when needed.
• Support a professional lobby environment by answering phones, directing guests, coordinating deliveries, and communicating relevant information to building management and Allied Universal leadership.
