Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer to work full-time at a Charlotte, NC location. You will greet visitors, verify identifications, control access, monitor security systems, and respond to incidents with a calm, professional approach.

This role requires a minimum of 1 year in security, a high school diploma, and a willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening. The schedule is part of a full-time rotation with evening hours and a $18.26 hourly pay rate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where allowed by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees at a commercial real estate location.
• Manage the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying IDs, and issuing visitor credentials.
• Monitor access control systems, cameras, alarms, and communications equipment; report issues.
• Respond to incidents and alarms following emergency protocols and notify appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence and assist with lobby operations.
