Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facilities services provider, seeks a Security Guard Reception Access Support in Miami, FL. You will greet visitors, control access, badge issuance, monitor entry, and deliver friendly customer service in an aerospace/defense setting.

This full-time role pays $19.56 per hour. You will support a secure environment, handle incident logs, and coordinate with site leadership while following site procedures and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Possess a state, county, or city-issued security license, preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories where allowed by law.
• As a condition of employment, subject to a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or guests at a front desk location within an aerospace and defense environment by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying credentials, following visitor management protocols, issuing visitor badges as authorized, and directing guests to appropriate contacts or locations.
• Receive and route telephone calls, maintain visitor and incident logs, and communicate relevant information to site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Maintain awareness of front desk activity, report suspicious behavior or policy concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
