Job summary

Allied Universal in Miami, FL is seeking a Security Guard Reception Access Support to welcome visitors, manage access control and badge procedures, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service in an aerospace and defense environment.

You will support front desk operations, respond to incidents, maintain logs, and collaborate with site personnel to sustain a secure, professional workplace. A focus on safety, compliance, and service is essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• State, county, or city-issued security license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or guests at a front desk location within an aerospace and defense environment by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying credentials, visitor management, issuing visitor badges, and directing guests to appropriate contacts or locations.
• Receive and route telephone calls, maintain visitor and incident logs, and communicate relevant information to site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Maintain awareness of front desk activity, report suspicious behavior or policy concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.

Pay Rate: $19.56 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Possess a state, county, or city-issued security license, preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
