Job summary

Focused Care at Mount Pleasant in Mount Pleasant, TX is seeking a COVID-19 Screening Associate to facilitate screening for team members and visitors and to assist with a variety of tasks during the pandemic. This on-site role requires clear English communication and dependable attendance.

The position involves coordinating with residents and families in a respectful manner, handling clerical duties, and supporting the facility’s safety protocols while adhering to AA/EEO/M/F/D/V guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.
• Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Screening employees and visitors for potential exposure to COVID-19 as they come into the community
• Maintain the confidentiality of COVID-19 screening records
• Supervise visits with residents
• Communicates with residents and family members in a professional and polite manner
• Assists with other clerical duties
• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance in accordance with facility absence policies.
