Job summary

Focused Post Acute Care Partners is seeking a screening assistant to support the community during the COVID-19 pandemic. You will screen employees and visitors for exposure, maintain confidentiality of screening records, and assist with clerical duties while ensuring professional communication with residents and families.

The role requires ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English, maintain consistent attendance, and support visits with residents.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.
• Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Screening employees and visitors for potential exposure to COVID-19 as they come into the community
• Maintain the confidentiality of COVID-19 screening records
• Supervise visits with residents
• Communicates with residents and family members in a professional and polite manner
• Assists with other clerical duties
• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance in accordance with facility absence policies.
