Job summary

Focused Post Acute Care Partners seeks a COVID-19 Screener at Focused Care at Pasadena, TX. You will screen employees and visitors, ensure confidentiality of screening data, and supervise resident visits while supporting clerical tasks as needed.

The role requires clear communication, English proficiency, reliability, and the ability to handle physical tasks within the facility’s safety guidelines. Weekend and evening shifts may be included.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.
• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance and performing essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Screening employees and visitors for potential exposure to COVID-19 as they come into the community.
• Maintain the confidentiality of screening records.
• Supervise visits with residents.
• Communicate with residents and family members in a professional and polite manner.
• Assist with other clerical duties.
• Maintain regular attendance in accordance with facility policies.
