Mantra Fitness is seeking a Front Desk Associate for our Tampa studio. This part-time, in-person role is the welcoming face of the studio, delivering premium hospitality while supporting daily operations and member experience.

You will greet members, process check-ins, assist onboarding and waivers, handle first-visit guidance, and support memberships and retail. A team-first mindset and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Role Purpose

The Front Desk Associate is the face of the studio and a key driver of the member experience. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality, supporting daily studio operations, and ensuring every member interaction reflects the Mantra Fitness standard.

This is not a passive role. Front Desk Associates are expected to be proactive, detail-oriented, and fully engaged in the day-to-day execution of studio operations. Success is measured by consistency, reliability, and the quality of the member experience delivered on every shift.

Compensation & Performance Alignment

This role includes a competitive hourly rate with opportunities for growth based on performance and contribution.

Hourly Rate:

$14–$16 per hour, commensurate with experience and availability.

Compensation growth is earned through consistent performance and alignment with Mantra Fitness standards. Specific compensation terms are outlined in individual offer letters.

Front Desk Associates are expected to uphold Mantra Fitness standards across hospitality, operations, and professionalism. Growth opportunities may include expanded responsibilities, increased hours, or advancement into leadership roles.

Core Accountabilities

The Front Desk Associate is accountable for:

  • Delivering a welcoming, high-quality member experience at all times
  • Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the studio
  • Accurate execution of check-in, booking, and POS processes
  • Supporting studio operations and team needs during each shift
  • Upholding Mantra Fitness brand standards and culture
Key ResponsibilitiesStudio Operations
  • Open and/or close the studio according to established SOPs
  • Ensure the studio is clean, organized, and fully set up for classes
  • Prepare equipment and reset the room between classes
  • Monitor and restock retail, amenities, and supplies as needed
  • Follow all operational procedures, policies, and safety standards
Member Experience & Hospitality
  • Greet every member and guest with professionalism and energy
  • Learn member names and build genuine relationships
  • Check members in efficiently using ClubReady
  • Assist new clients with onboarding, waivers, and first-visit guidance
  • Address questions, concerns, and basic issues with professionalism
  • Escalate more complex concerns to the Studio Manager when appropriate
Sales & Front Desk Performance
  • Support membership sales, intro offers, and retail purchases
  • Educate members on packages, promotions, and studio offerings
  • Encourage class bookings, waitlist conversions, and retention behaviors
  • Maintain accuracy in all transactions and client profiles
Team & Studio Support
  • Communicate clearly with instructors and team members
  • Support smooth class transitions and on-time starts
  • Assist with studio events, promotions, and community initiatives
  • Contribute to a positive, accountable, and team-oriented environment
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Front Desk Associates are evaluated on:

  • Member experience and hospitality consistency
  • Punctuality, attendance, and reliability
  • Accuracy of check-ins, bookings, and transactions
  • Cleanliness and studio readiness during shifts
  • Sales support (memberships, retail, and intro conversions)
  • Contribution to team culture and professionalism
Required Qualifications

  • Front Desk Associates execute the day-to-day member experience and studio operations
  • Studio Managers provide oversight, coaching, and accountability
  • This role may evolve as the company grows
  • Associates are expected to stay aligned with current standards, processes, and expectations
