Job summary

Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park Resort in Wisconsin Dells is seeking a Front Desk Rotational associate.

You will rotate through different Front Desk areas and support guest check-in and check-out with a focus on accuracy and courtesy. The role emphasizes friendly service, professional phone etiquette, knowledge of local attractions, and efficient handling of reservations, cancellations, and transactions in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Rotate across Front Desk areas during the program.
• Check-in and check-out of room guests with courtesy and accuracy.
• Answer phones professionally and provide current information.
• Direct incoming calls swiftly and correctly.
• Maintain knowledge of property, attractions, and activities.
• Deliver friendly, superior customer service.
• Take room reservations and cancellations accurately.
• Handle cash, credit and sales transactions securely.
• Keep front desk area neat and organized.
• Monitor guest safety and service issues for a safe environment.
• Coordinate room availability, maintenance, and housekeeping communications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Reports to the Front Desk Manager.
• Assuring friendly, courteous and accurate check-in and check-out of room guests.
• Answering the phone professionally, courteously, and responding to questions with accurate and current information.
• Directing all incoming calls swiftly and correctly.
• Competent knowledge of the property, local attractions and current activities.
• Promote friendly, courteous, superior customer service.
• Taking room reservations and cancellations in a highly efficient and friendly manner while capturing all pertinent information
• Will be responsible for handling a high volume of cash, credit and sales transactions
• Keep front desk area and own station neat, tidy, and clean
• Monitor guest safety and service issues to provide the safest and most customer-oriented environment
• Responsible for assisting and monitoring of room availability, maintenance and housekeeping issues and communication those to housekeeping in a timely and efficient manner
• Other duties as assigned
