Job summary

Crunch Fitness is seeking a Front Desk Representative to create a welcoming atmosphere at the San Mateo club. You will greet members, handle check-ins, answer phones, and relay information about events and services.

The role requires high energy, reliability, and strong customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include assisting with retail, scheduling member services, and maintaining a clean front desk area.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English with strong reading/writing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proven customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests with a welcoming smile and assist as they exit the club.
• Check in all members and guests per standard procedures.
• Answer phones courteously and professionally.
• Communicate events and updates to members.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk area and assist in retail as needed.

Front Desk Representative Responsibilities

• Greet all members & guests with a smile and wish them well as they exit the club
• Check in all members and guests in accordance with company procedures
• Facilitate any messages on club software at member check-in
• Answer phones in courteous, helpful, professional manner
• Communicate special events to members and guests
• Maintain an atmosphere which makes members feel welcome
• Facilitate all member requests or forward to a manager
• Maintain professional disposition at all times
• Understand and follow all policies, procedures and standards
• Sell retail products (if sold at the front desk)
• Schedule member service needs
• Assist in retail, childcare, etc. desks/areas as needed
• Facilitate payment of member services in accordance with company procedures
• Know club facility, services, and schedules
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist in all projects as delegated by club management
• Above position may report to Operations Manager where applicable
• Follow all policies and procedures in Employee Handbook
